I am ordering my dress tonight!! I am very excited. When I called the store to make an appointment, they said that a 50% deposit was required at the time of order. I thought this kind of sounded like a hefty deposit...what do you think? Is this about what you had to leave when you ordered your dress? I'm not worried about the store going out of business or anything, just thought it was a bit much for the deposit...?

I had to pay a 50% deposit. Seems to be the norm to me. You are getting your gown "custom made" to your size. I would think the hefty deposit is to that people don't back out and the store is stuck with your dress.

| I had to do 50% deposit as well. I did it on my credit card so there was proof just in case

| Mine was a lttle less then 50% they just use a flat fee of $200 regardless of the total of the dress.
