| This is what we're doing unless we get a baby boy! My aunt had only a ring bearer and no flower girl for her wedding. She had passed away only about a week or two before the wedding. I think it's completely ok to do whatever it is you choose. Even no FG/RB

XoXo (10/9/2008) You can do whatever you want, really... I had a flowergirl and no ringbearer. Our rings were given to our best man (he kept them in his breast pocket) who passed them along to the officiant at the appropriate time.Same here!
Married to the PERFECT MAN.... for me!

| 2 RB's and no FG for us. The BM and MOH held the rings, the boys had fake ones hot-glued to their little pillows. Love 'em but wanted to make sure our rings were with grown-ups as they are both busy kids (9 yrs and 4 yrs at the time). I agree with PP - do what works for you!

| We had no FG or RB. We didn't want any children in the wedding party. What we did was have our mother's bring the rings up at the appropriate time and it was a really nice touch.

Reminder: of course you don't "have to" have either a flowergirl or ringbearer. You really don't "have to" do most of the wedding stuff we all do. The only things that are legally required are the couple being married, a legal officiant, and two adult witnesses.
The rest is all gravy, and you can pick and choose what you want out of all the traditions we have out there.

Wow, thanks so much for all of your responses!! I am so touched by everybody here. It's really nice to have a forum for brides 'cause I'm feeling soooooooooooo clueless! I think I will forego the ring bearer Thanks!!! & Happy Thanksgiving!
