Your invites can be totally different, but I would use the same color scheme to tie it all together. Looks good though!!

Honestly noone is going to care whether your invites match your save the dates. I don't think they have to be the same in any way.
The wedding invitation sets the tone of the wedding (formal invitation for a formal wedding etc) - the save the date is just a heads up and can be anything you like  So you don't have to worry about trying to match your wedding invites...
