Hi ladies,
We're seeking a Hamilton-area DJ for our August 23, 2009 wedding at Liuna Station. The "recommended" DJ for the venue quoted us $1500 for basic music and lights services, and we're hoping to find someone a bit less expensive ... under $1000 would be ideal.
Any personal recommendations?

| I cant make a personal claim for them as i have not booked my DJ yet, or even met with one, let alone seen how they perform at my wedding, BUT my wedding planner is suggesting Gigs Entertainment out of burlington. she said "You can expect to pay approx. $650 based on number of hours. I have more expensive DJ`s, but I figured that you would probably like this option best!" so not soo soo bad in prices for a professional DJ i guess.

| you can try spirit of sound. they say they will work to create packages within you budget. We used them in july and loved working with them they are very professional and just what we wanted. hope that helps

I don't know if BOSS DJ goes there but they were great and i think their cost was 850 everyone loved them at our wedding. The dance floor was never empty and he was dancing and having a great time as well... He also teaches people a dance and has some neat ideas to get people involved. We and everyone at the wedding were thrilled with him. It was amazing

I used Bil Copeland at my wedding and got a really reasonable rate. Since then I've used both Bil Copeland and Gigs Entertainment for corporate parties at Liuna and the were both really good. For Corproate Parties they both charged around $750 6 hours.

I used jerry aarron at www.grooveu.ca , my dh brother worked a tall ship in TO the past couple summers and jerry is who they recommend weddings and events use and dear brother highly recommended him. My guests all had an amazing time and the music was great and he was so friendly. I paid $650 and that included dinner music. I think he is located in burlington?? (my wedding was in niagara falls)
