Melissa, I think my LP is ok. FF did change my expected AF date. It was supposed to be the 26th, now it's predicted to be on the 22nd. FF is still telling me to wait until the 26th to test though. I'm not going to wait any longer then the 22nd You don't need to pressure me!!! Based on the past where I've 'felt' a twinge, but then thoguht I was wrong about that being O pains, then had an early AF.. I think this is right and my LP would be long enough. What does fx stand for?

| What do you ladies think? I don't want to sound negitive but I think AF is on her way.. Way too much cramping to not be it. Now I have had one chart with a short LP and then one month where I just made it to 10 days which is considered on the short side still. Now this month pending when she comes I think it will be tomrrow with my temp dive... It will be a short LP. Now I read that if you take a bigger does then your general prenatal vitamn of B6 it helps lenghten them? Not sure has anyone heard this? I have also read that it's call LP Defect? So you think I should try the B6 or should I make a handy trip to the Doctor? I am just beggining to get worried... I never had this ever when I was a teenager (not that I would know) But I did miscarrie a couple years back and ever since then AF hasn't or my cycles EVER been the same. Havier / Crampy and shorter. I used to be like a clock 28 days and knew when to go to the washroom... Ahh now it's got to be complicated...

Heather, I'm not sure, I would probably be inclined to go to the doctor and see what they have to say. Fingers crossed that it's not AF though!
Jenn, have a great weekend! We'll all be here waiting for news when you get back!
I had my ultrasounds done, and some blood taken, so now we just have to wait for the results. The bloodwork will be in by Tuesday, but I'm not sure how long the ultrasound results take. Hopefully by the end of next week we'll have some news!
Have a Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Yay June, welcome back! I was thinking about you and wondering if you were going to come back. Glad you did! I didn't know you couldn't put OPK results in when you're not a paying member of FF - mine is about to expire and I wasn't planning on paying for it. Hmmm, oh well. Keep track of it somewhere and if you have to adjust FF's date then you'll know when to do it. If you go back in one of my previous posts I put some stuff about how OPKs work and when you actually O based on when it detects hormones.
thaele - FF gives you a more "conservative" date for testing when it's not sure what your normal LP length is, cause it doesn't want you to be disappointed. I totally understand that, but I don't blame you for wanting to test earlier, either.
FX = fingers crossed
Heather - don't count your chickens before they hatch (or assume af is coming until she does). But if you are concerned about your LP length, take your charts to your doctor. Yes, shorter than 10 days is considered a "luteal phase defect"... I think I found some info for Tabitha (tguichon - sp?) in another post if you want to look that up. I think there are some "natural" things you can take to help regulate that, but you'll want to know the cause of it before you worry about treatment. I wouldn't try things without talking to your doctor about them first. Vitamin B6 can help, but do NOT take double-doses of prenatal vitamins cause there are things in there that can hurt you if you get too much. If you want to *try* (B6 is really hard to overdose on and it's worth a try), you can just buy B6 tablets from any place that sells vitamins. You have to take the same dosage the entire month to see if that makes a difference.
Lizard - I think the ultrasound results should be ready similar time to the blood. When I had xrays the technician told me it's 48 hours max. My blood work usually gets in next day. Did you book an appointment to go over the results, or they'll call you when they're in?
Ok, I really do need to get off here. I just dropped over $1100 on advertising for my company, so now I need to do some work to pay for it!!!!
See you all after the weekend, hope it's a good one for all of you!
Melissa

| Here's my chart again... hopefully.
I have a Drs appt in a couple of weeks to discuss what's going on - we'll have to just wait and see, I guess. Not much that can be done in the meantime. Last time I complained about the length was around 15 years ago, when i was thrown on BC without any questions. Worked perfectly at the time, and at 15 I never thought to ask why exactly it was happening. 15 years later, I wish they had dealt with it then...
