my fiance and i bottled 375ml bottles of wine as our favour. so far we have gone to staples and michaels to see if we can get personalized labels for the bottles - but we have unfortunately not had any luck. i am not into printing them at home as i dont have a good printer and and am not crafty at all! i was hoping there was a service out there...

any suggestions?

I just bought regular envelope labels at staples. The wine label layout I found on Microsoft Publisher. (But it was actually a food label or something. The layout was the same size as the envelope labels.)

I basically wrote out our names, our wedding date and the love quote that was on our invitations and programs, added some graphics with our wedding colours and voila! Home made wine labels!

My grandmother liked them so much, she sook a few emptied wine bottles home with her! haha

Hope this helps!

i know you say that you aren't into creating your own, but you can buy the paper from an online store called the oriental trading company and maybe try a staples or somewhere to print it for you if you take them the paper and what you want on it. good luck!

It is actually cheaper and easier to DIY.. Avery and Staples brand both make labels that are exactly the right size for your wine bottles. I have a template for them on my site (or you can just as easily download the blank version from Avery or staples when you buy their labels). Also check the links/tutorials/templates post in the DIY forum, there are a bunch of links to other places with similar templates.

If you want the 'professional' look, get the laser labels and bring them and your file to kinkos (I would never recommend staples for printing)....coincidentally, both staples and kinkos offer design services for more complex labels....obviously, there's a fee attached.

Most wine shops will make some for you, but there's less of a selection as far as design.
