My promise ring means alot to me, I had it for over 5 years before we officially got engaged.  I hate seeing it stuck in side my jewelry box.

I have 2 ideas on how to include this in my wedding day, just cause I feel it should be there.

Safety pin it to the inside of my dress, up by my thigh.  Only I have to know its there or attaching it to my bouquet, where the ribbon is and have it dangle a little like a charm.  They only thing I worry about the bouquet idea is losing it.

What do you think I should do???  I really would like to include it some how.

I love the idea of putting it in your bouquet...  how about wearing it on a chain?

I know what you mean!  I had my promise ring for 8 years...now it just sits in the jewellry box

I like both ideas, but I'd suggest you pin it to your dress.  I nearly forgot my bouquet at the venue, but there's no way I could forget my dress considering I was wearing it!

I wore my promise ring on my right hand for the wedding.  Ever since I got engaged that's where I have worn it, since my e-ring replaced it on the left of course.  I know some brides put their e-ring on their right hand for the ceremony, but I gave it to DH to put on my hand along with the w-ring at the ceremony, so when I was walking up the aisle it was the only ring I was wearing!  I still wear it on my right hand now.

I also wear my promise ring on my right hand now that I'm engaged.  I love it and I have been wearing it every day of my life for the past 9 years!  I will probably continue to wear it on my right hand after I'm married.  I probably won't wear it the day of the wedding, but I like the idea of pinning it to your dress.  It's something private and special that only you know and it is still with you on your wedding day.  Attaching it to your bouquet would be nice too, but there is always the risk of leaving it somewhere.  At least on your dress, it will be ON you.  Nice idea

I agree that pinning it to your dress seems "safer".  It can be really easy to put the bouquet down somewhere and leave it there.  Also, are you planning on tossing it at the end of the night?  What would you do with the ring then?
