We bought our first house together 3 years ago... I was 23 and FH was 29. It was pre-engagement, we both wanted a house more than anything else. I have to say now that we're planning our wedding it makes things much easier since we don't worry about saving for a downpayment.

FH and I just bought our first home. I am 22 and he is 24. But we wont take possession until next winter when it is finished and I will be 23 and he will be 25.

| I was 18 when my FH and I bought our first house. I am now 21. I love having my own home. We are doing reno's right now and then hopefully sell and buy another one. I have found that after doing reno's I feel like the house is more ours, and I dont want to see it. Walking down the aisle to the man of my dreams Sept 19 2009

I was 26 and DH was 25 when we bought our first place together. DH was the youngest person ever in his family to own their own place. One more year we'll be in our condo and then our mortgage is up for re-negotiation and we're looking at a house.

| We bought our first house one month after getting engaged. I was 26, DH was 25. our house closed one year later. we got married 4 months after the house closed. he did not move in until after the wedding. like many of you, we waited until i finished 2 degrees and had been working for a year, before we bought.
