| I need some help ladies.. My baby shower is this Sunday and being held by my DH's aunt. I love her and she has been such a great help through wedding and baby planning. Since I have been in the hospital 3 out of the past 5 weeks, I have nothing to do with the planning. Should I get her a thank you gift for planning and hosting? Is that a common practice? Any ideas as to what? Thanks so much!

I don't know if its common practice or not, but it would certainly be a very nice thing to do for her. You could get her a good bottle of wine, or maybe treat her to a manicure... something indulgent... something that really says you were great to me, now its time to be great to you. (If that makes sense.)
beaniebaby (10/16/2008) My all time favourite thank you gift is from www.ediblearrangements.ca
Yummy... My work sent me a huge basket last week as a get better soon gift. It was so sweet because I really think flowers are a waste of money and food for a preggers chick is always a safe bet
