Ok so i have until January 5th (Robbie's birthday) and im dreading the day. I know I should be living everyday and enjoying him and all the time we have together! But its still making me upset.
We havnt decided if I can stay home yet. Its hard enough on 1 1/2 income. But 1 income! Yikes.
I thought maybe i'd go back weekends (menial work in a drugstore-photolab) Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Thats only maybe 20 hours a week and sadly enough only 9.50/hour.
I cant go back more because there isnt anyone to watch our lo. Dh works 7am-6pm Mon-Fri.
Is $600 a month worth it? Not in my books.

| As much as I totally understand where you're coming from, any extra money, is extra money.... $600 goes a long way - it's groceries for the month, it could be gas money for you and DH to get to and from work... it's a bunch of utilities... So as much as you're dreading it, if it helps the family, then you have to do what you have to do! Good luck!

I agree. If you need to do it then you need to do it. 600$ can go a long way. That'd be enough to pay off my monthly car payments, insurance, and phone/tv/cable bill. Just to give you an idea. I think you might feel a bit more relief financially. It'll only be part time too. It'll give you a chance to get out. My cousin who just had her baby isn't working, she had a C section also so she wasn't able to do much at the start either.. but her bf is working, and she's at home all day with the baby. She loves it, and doesn't regret anything by any means, but would love to be able to go out even if it were just to work a few hours a week. I think it all depends on when you guys stand right now fianancially and if you're willing to sacrifice things. It's up to you guys. But I do believe 600$ is worth a lot. (but I'm a bit of a scrooodge )

I don't think it's worth it at all. Especially if you don't have anyone to look after Robbie. You'll just be paying for someone else to look after him.

$600 certainly would go a long way. Especially if its just on the weekends. It will give your DH a chance to spend some one on one time with Robbie and gives you a chance to get out of the house. lol, yes its to work, but still you are out of the house.
Married the Best Man on Land or Sea on Sept 29/07. Princess Elizabeth Aria arrived on Dec 10/08.

And its only part time, so you will still have tons of time with your lo.
