I'm curious to know how this is affected by all the carseat laws? I know there's a big push on using a carseat safely, which of course is great. But, seeing how yours is technically safe, though technically Canada doesn't recognize it as such.. would someone who was stopped with a carseat like this, and they notice that 150$ stamp from canada.. would it result in a fine/penalty? I don't know how that would work. Just curious is all. Sorry for jumping in the thread yes, we are risking a fine....but to us it is worth it. It is not like the USA is a third world country with completely different standards then ours. If a cop were to stop and look for that sticker...and we don't have it...we could get fined and have to purchase a new carseat..... Sorry, I hope you didn't take it in a bad way. I was really just curious. I totally understand why you did purchase the car seat. An extra 150$ to have a sticker is a bit much I think. It's rediculous how we get a massive price hike on anything compared to across the border. Though, I think they mostly look to see and make sure the seat is properly set up? I wouldn't know, I've never owned a carseat before Oh I didn't take it the wrong way at all!! you were just curious That is what I mean..you get the EXACT SAME Graco set in states but pay $150 bucks less...all because of a sticker? Seems like a scam to me. But I easily get grumpy about stupid crap like that

BABY #2 ALREADY?? HOLY CRAP!!!! A Child - not until you hold one on your lap do you realize your entire world can fit into your arms

If I was able to go to the states to buy things, I'd do it in a heart beat. Unfortunately, gas prices would just bump me up to the same as I'd have paid here. Either way, there's no winning
