my son is an active sleeper and kicks the blankets right off even before he falls asleep so dh and I bought a space heater and use that to regulate a decent temp in the nursery instead. It works for us because Aiden tends to get really warm and I didn't want him over heating in heavy sleepers.

i saw this on the Mom Show last week.   its called the Sleeparoo, & its a blanket that is zippered to the crib sheet at the bottiom (to remove for washing) & it folds down at the top to whatever height you need depending on how tall baby is.  you can attach the top of the blanket to the rails on the crib so they can't pull it over their face.  It's not cheap, $60, but well worth it.  Here's the website link:

That is a neat idea...I had never heard of that before. I think DS would probably freak out in it! He loves to roll around and be free and if he is contained in one spot he gets very frustrated.

I went to Costco today and they had just put out a whole table of fleece sleepers, so I picked up a few. I figure at 7.99 each I will start there and see if that helps! I also have a sleep sack that my SIL gave me to try.

Thanks again!

Was ldeitz.....now lstashko...but you can call me Lisa

Thanks for posting this because the last few nights DS has been waking up with no blankets on because he's always kicking his legs! Anyways, I love the pic. Your  son is adorable!
