I'm starting to scout out decorators next week and have no idea what I should expect to be a good price. I know it all depends on what you get for your over all expense but I was wondering if you girls could help me a little. How much did you get for you buck???

I just needed basic decor as the room was so nice itself - I got chair covers for both ceremony and the reception (she only charged $1 a chair for the ceremony) and head table decor (white chiffon with choc brown draping and lights) all for $450 (110 chairs). I was in the niagara region and used gala decor - christina was great to work with and her prices were the best i could find.
Thanksgiving weekend 2008 Im a MRS had a wonderful and fun day with our 110 guests

| Where are you located? We had a steal of a deal on decorating/flowers (all bouquets and bouts - 3 BM's, lots of parents)/cake/morning after brunch (fruit, bagels, coffee, tea, cheese etc) - $1000. Our reception venue really just needed cute little centrepeices and candles (lots of candles). We ate the breakfast for 3 days, the cake was delish and I loved our decor and flowers.

all i can tell you is what I am paying for pieces. I dont know if our rental fee includes set up and take down or what. have to talk to my planner about that. what i can tell you is that satiny table cloths are $14 and my chivary charis are nomally $9 but I am getting them for $8 (because . I know there is a $100 set up take down delivery fee from the rental place for the chairs (thats all we were talking about renting at one point) so im not sure if that changes if i add more things or what the deal is. or who is going to decorate using the thigns i have made. who knows!

My decor will cost me $1000 this includes my bridal party flowers + parents. 10 Centerpieces, head and cake table and receiving line. She will be doing all my setup and take down and also agreed to arrange my seating charts for me as well as setup my candy buffet. If I want extra centerpieces she will charge me only for the vase. I found her at the bridal show. Where are you located?
