Well Robbie is a quirky kid so far. He loves veggies but doesn't like fruit. He's into the whole finger foods now, but wont touch cubed fruit. I even tried room-temp, nope. He'll eat applesauce, but thats it. So i got a whole bunch from costco (all-natural with different combonations - apple-peach)

Any ideas on how to introduce other fruits?

I even tried putting a banana into toast (he eats cooked eggplant in toast just about every morning) but he spit it out.

Hehe even when he sees the fruit he starts shaking his head 'no'.

Have your tried making him a smoothie with fruit in it? Let him drink it instead of eating it? I'd jump on the apple sauce wagon...if he will eat that then go for it. When I was 6-8 months all I ate was yogurt and apple sauce then stopped solids all together and went back to ebf at 9 months...my poor mother!

Don't force him...you'll definitely loose that battle and you set yourself up for a power struggle.

I like the smoothie idea!

All I can suggest is just keep offering it to him and let him make up his own mind. I read that it can take up to 20 times of seeing a new food before a toddler would even try it. I just place it on her plate with a food she likes and let it be. If she eats it, great, if not..I don't make a big deal about it at all. This has worked for things like broccoli and green beans. Mine would rather eat fruit then veggies.
