So my husband is all his glory turned off our chest freezer last night *unknowingly* and ALL of the food defrosted. I spent 2 days prior to the baby being born with my mom making tons of meals so we wouldn't have to worry about cooking when she got here. We've eaten a lot of them, but we still had a lot frozen...but now it is all defrosted and sitting on my counter. I have no idea what to do with it all and I called him at work to ask what to do and he got mad at me?!

So now I guess I'm going to spend all day cooking everything up and repacking it so that it can be refrozen...can I do it?

Ok- I just need to cry and vent about it...I'm so ticked off...

Oh Erin, that really sucks!!! It's such a shame that all that food is going to go to waste. Too bad you can't get it to a homeless shelter or something, so at least that way it wouldn't end up in the trash, and your hard work could be appreciated by somebody who could really use it.

Erin, that's terrible!  The only thing I can think of to suggest is what you're already doing...that and giving your husband a kick when he comes home

If the food is still good.  Have a big Defrosted Food Dinner party??    We had a leftover bbq party the day after our housewarming party because there was a lot of food leftover and we wouldn't have been able to eat it all before it goes bad.

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that that's happened. I agree that you can still have a big feast and eat all that food, so that it doesn't go to waste.
