Hi Ladies,

I've read the Dr. Sears book - the baby book I think it's called but i'm looking for another! Perhaps something on sleep? Even just a book that has overall good information on nutrition, sleep etc....

I'm going to Indigo later with a friend so I want to pick up a few good reads!

Healthy sleep habits, Happy child by Dr. Marc Weissbluth.  Once I read this book and started using his techniques Jaxon had no crying fits due toover exhaustionn & he started sleeping longer at night.  great, great book.  It was recommended to me by 2 nurses.

CIO = cry it out

The book that has been my saviour is Tracy Hogg's Baby Whisperer.  I didn't much need it for Lucas but it saved my sanity with Maya.

I've just ordered to recommended by a sleep expert.  The sleep easy solution and Sleeping through the night.   I'll get the authors if you like.

I have the Weissbluth book. I don't believe in the CIO method either but I do like how he says put the baby back down within an hour or two of being alert when they are young.

Please do post the authors!

ETA: The Sleep easy solution  and Sleeping through the night are more CIO books. *sigh* Are they all CIO books out there? LOL
