Please tell me I'm not the only one with these awful things!
DS was born by c-section, but I still ended up with a nasty anal fissure that won't seem to go away. I'm over 6 mos PP, and still can't find relief. I've been to a specialist, but he doesn't want to do the surgery that might help because there is a risk of incontinence.
His recommendation was to drink more water & eat more fibre. I'm tired of eating bran!! I'm tired of feeling like I'm pooing out pieces of glass!! I'm tired of being so uncomfortable I can barely sit to feed my son!
Anyone else in the same boat? What has helped you ease the pain??

I suffer as well. I had them before I got pregnant. Sorry to say the only relief I find is by drinking lots of water and eating a high fibre diet. You don't have to just eat bran. Fruit is good too.
