Congrats on picking up all of your decorations!

I know the feeling about wishing the day would be sooner!!!

Believe it or not....my FH proposed to me on August 2nd....one weekend after that I had my centerpieces and candles. I just happened to come across a woman that was getting out of the Wedding planning business while I was Yard Saling!!!! I was soooo lucky! My tables are going to look beautiful! I bought feathered boas to go around them off of ebay. (Holy!! I have saved soooo much money from shopping on ebay!!!)

I have also found flowers for wedding decorations yard saling...and found a beautiful bouquet that I am going to use as a toss (looks fresh and new!) from Value Village. While hanging around...(my FH car broke down at the mall...I took the opportunity to look around while waiting for the tow truck...and BOOM..I had a toss bouquet for $1.99!!!) I LOVE DEALS!

Yaaaaay! I love wedding planning...sh*t...what do I think about once the day is gone???

I am addicted to ebay!!!!! I have got so much from there and just about to order the BM dresses too. In the stuff I picked up over the weekend was a toss bouquet...for free!!!!!  I love deals too.

I found a BEAUTIFUL wedding dress on ebay that I was dying for!! The only thing that stopped (or stops) me from buying it...is I am afraid that it will not look right, might not be the right size...etc..

I can't keep off it. My girlfriend at work (who was getting married at the time) introduced me to CB and ebay when she found out I was getting married (God Love Her!!!) Heck...I look for any excuse to surf ebay to buy anything!

(Including a DVD for my Moms birthday that could not be found anywhere!!)

Yep me too, I have bought so many things, including some xmas presents...bought a choclate fountain and a beverage fountain and diamond confetti and tulle and dresses and much more for the wedding...LOL

My Love and I are getting married June 20, 2009 in an elegant outdoor setting!!!

PRAY FOR NO RAIN!!!!

Can't find a website for Magic Moments....only in NL or the US.

Yeah their website doesn't come up when you google it for some reason.  Here is the link:

http://www.magicmomentsphotography.ca/index.html

We were very impressed with them.  We wanted reasonable prices but still nice photography (of course!) so we researched a lot and finally went to talk to Photo By Willie and Magic Moments.  Magic Moments blew Willie out of the water for us.  They are a married couple who both come to your wedding.  John does the more posed shots and Donna does the 'behind the scenes/candid' shots.  They are so friendly, they came to our house, and we immediately felt comfortable with them.  We thought their work was beautiful and their prices are very good.  We had an engagement shoot with John and it was really fun.  They charged us $140 and we got a CD with all the photos on it.  He spent almost 3 hours with us that day, and we got over 120 shots.  We thought that was a great deal, plus we wanted to see some of his work before the wedding.  Keep me updated if you contact them.

Here are my vendors so far:

Ceremony/Reception: Trillium Trails

DJ: Orbit Sound

Photographer: Magic Moments Photography (John Brands)

Officiant: Maryanne Thomson

Flowers: Loblaws (ordering in January)

Cake: don't know yet!

My Dress: Bridal Desires, Ajax

I think that's pretty much it for now.  I am hoping to start BM dress shopping in early December and have some ordered by February.  Also, my mom and I just went tonight to I-Do-For-You, which is a little store in Courtice.  It's in this lady's house, she does all kinds of stuff.  Anyone been there??

I am actually plannign on going to I Do..For You as well.  I am hoping to get my bridesmiad jewellery from their, Jeree Montier - did you see any of it?  I also want to get maybe my unity candel and a few other little things.

Any feedback would be great!

She did have some jewellery but she can order more and it's so much cheaper than bridal stores.  She has a lot of different things and I got a lot of ideas just from looking around at her stuff.  I ended up buying an invitation kit b/c she has them on sale right now.  And my mom bought our sand ceremony set from her to give to us for xmas.  Her prices are very reasonable.  She also has some catalogues you can look through and she can order from them if you see anything you like.  I will probably drag FH in there sometime after xmas so he can check it out too.  Just make sure you make an appointment.  I wasn't expecting her store to be inside her home!
