| So just thought I'd give you ladies a heads up that are planning your honeymoons... Costa Rica health concerns calgary.ctv.ca jsh POSTED AT 11:19 AM Monday, February 11 A winter getaway in Costa Rica has turned into a nightmare for a number of Canadians. Hundreds of people were evacuated from two large resorts in San Jose, Costa Rica. The Occidental Resorts, including the Grand Papagayo, and the Allegra Papagayo have been shut down because of bacterial concerns. A vacation booking company told CTV News the resorts have been allegedly dumping raw sewage into the ocean and jeopardizing the health of swimmers. The guests, including many Canadians, are either being relocated to other resorts in the area or are receiving refunds. Occidental Resorts says they are not accepting any new reservations until after March 2nd. Terrible!!!!!!! The FH says raw sewage sounds good.... Talk about potty humour. LOL!
