| Okay, I am having a very difficult time picking out my colours. We are getting married on November 1, 2008. My first thought, was Victorian Lilac, charcoal grey and a hint of green as an accent. I don't know though....any advice?? I was also thinking chocolate brown, but my dress is white, do you think brown and white match? I would think brown and off white would look better

| Have you started looking at things like Guest books, ring pillows, BM dresses, etc. That could have an effect on your choice.

| I have a VERY specific shade of aqua and I am finding everyhting I need on ebay! So make sure you check ebay if you're looking for stuff in your colours! Also, IMO brown and white go together much better than brown and off-white.

| I just went out yesterday to Micheals to get inspiration for colours for our wedding...at first I really wanted bold and funky colours (think bird of paradise in my bouquet), but I ended up coming home with a piece of faux lavender, and some gray and green papers to think about...also brought home a shade of blue, as well, just because I want to find a way to incorporate it! But I don't see how I'll do that! I may also use white in place of the gray...not sure yet. I'm now thinking I'd really like to have lavender and Queen Anne's Lace in my bouquet...nice and romantic! Anyways, if you read beyond my blabbing, I'm trying to say that I'm certain my colours are going to be the same as what you're thinking-lilac, gray (or white), and green (or blue)...so I guess I'd have to say I like it!!!!

I think brown and white are great together! The only thing *I* personally would worry about is the tuxes. I had considered using brown as one of my colours, but didn't want the girls in brown and then the guys in black. It just didn't sit well with me. But I'm sure it's been done and looked fabulous.

With some research...I'm sure you could find these! Chocolate brown tuxes do exist!

black with brown accents doesn't look too bad either...

For sure you can get brown tuxes! I think they're harder to come by, though. Personally, I wasn't willing to put extra money or effort into them! LOL
