| Hi there, We're doing a winter wedding and snow flakes are our theme. For our box I am making a big snowflake out of paper mache. I got a good size box and I'm saving paper towel & toilet paper rolls to you use as the mold. Its a bit of work but I think will be worth it in the end

Ok, this may sound crazy but heres my idea. Take some white yarn, or white crochet thread and some paste, like flour and water or sugar and water or wall paper paste or white glue (your choice) and soak it in the paste of choice for a bit so it absorbs it. Then take a balloon and blow it up as big as you want it. Wrap the goey yarn\crochet thread around the balloon every which way. It will sort of look like those wicker balls you can get. (am I making any sense?) So that there will be holes all over, but you can control the size of your holes, and leave one big enough for cards to go through. Next, if you wish you can spinkle angel dust or glitter over it. When it dries it will be hard. Bust the balloon and voila! You could attach it to a base, like a nicely decorated, painted piece of wood so it won't roll around. You could also make tiny ones and hang them from the ceiling. I know, it sounds tacky, but is very cute. I will try to find a picture to show you what it looks like. I've seen these (the daycare at my school did them with the kids) and they look like a professional artist did them!!! no jokes... they were beautiful! the only problem i forsee is getting them out (if you want to keep the shape) but i think it would be a great idea... or like other people have suggested... what about making a paper machie igloo?
