My fiance is looking for an emerald ring for me and we are not sure where to start. What jewelers sell emerald rings, I know Birks does but there price are overly inflated. If you got any ideas please let me know.

Depending on what you like estate jewelers have lots of gem stone rings. there are lots of really big ones, but there are som smaller Art Deco rings etc. definatly worth checking out as they are cheaper. usually sold UNDER their estimated value. I dont know where you live, but if its in the GTA Toronto Antiques on King has a couple of estate jewelers there. Cynthia Findlay has a bunch. thats where my E ring came from.

This site doesn't ship to Canada but maybe you could find a work-around (friend in the states to ship it to you?). They have a HUGE selection on gem rings, even engagement ones. Quite elegant with excellent prices.
