I got married at a Riu as well, and I just can't say enough about them! They seem to really have it figured out how to offer great value in a beautiful resort! Yay! Congrats again!I forgot to mention the problems I had with the wedding coordinator. She was impossible to get a hold of down there, and made no effort to contact us! We arrived Monday evening, and tried to get a hold of her at least 5 times a day. By Thursday I noticed another wedding, and went and found her there. Then she told me that I should have seen her sooner because earlier that day she took 3 other couples (getting married after us) to town to get their marriage licenses and that now it was probably to late to get ours. We ended up having to find our way to te office by ourselves on the morning of our wedding! At least we got the licence, but it was not due to any help from her. I would not recommend Debbie from the RIU to my worst enemy!
