Me Me Me!

It was all that looked right with my ring because of the way its shaped.

Plus I have other things to do with my money.

Who cares what people think - whats on your hand has nothing to do with your marriage

Not only am i going with a plain white gold band but it is my moms so it is extra special for me!

I also have a soliare diamond so i think a band with diamonds on it takes away from my ering!  its has a classic look that in 20 years will not date you and your wedding!

I am leaning towards a plain band for my e-ring. there was a ring that matches my e-ring but I now feel that I already have 15 diamonds on my e-ring why do I need another 7-8 on my wedding band...which if I don't wear my e-ring will just look like a wish bone ring with tiny diamonds. Plus we are also having trouble with the white gold on my e-ring so we are thinking of having my band made out of palladium!

what kind of trouble are you having with your white gold band?

We have to take it in every 6-8 weeks to get plated...apparently I am more sensitive to it than others....so every two months I take it in ...they keep it for two weeks...I wear it for another 6-8 weeks then start the process over again...I have now started not wearing it during the week....get to see it on weekends....

I just picked my plain (18k) white gold band today!!!!! I picked plain because I really love the look of one stone, then my e-ring has a thick high raised band that looked really odd with all diamond bands.
Also I looked at all possible bands and went to see a jewelry designer and after I told her what I liked and didn't like this is what I ended up with (custom made), see attached.

Mine is plain white gold (3mm) and so is my fiance's (4mm).

I'm quite traditional regarding rings, and am hoping we will be able to buy an eternity ring to go with my engagement ring and wedding ring, once that becomes appropriate.
