I'm in the same boat.  My Godmother (who's my aunt on my dad's side and my parents are divorced) approached me one day and said she'd throw a shower to appease all the little old Polish biddies who'll want to oooh and aaah over the first grandchild of the family gettin' hitched.  My MOH wanted to throw one as well but I'd feel silly having two showers.  Feels sort of ... I don't know ... selfish?  We'll see what happens.  I know my mom and her friends and family will want to be a part of a shower as well, so maybe my MOH can host that one.  I dunno... I'm not gonna say nothin'.

I am, however, looking forward to the bachelorette party.  We're throwing a Passion Party at a pub my mom works at (side job) and we'll have tons o' fun!  We're going to have it on my birthday to catch all that stuff in one fair swoop... So, that will be in June.
