It really depends on what you like to do.

FH and I have been to Banff and Jasper a lot, so pm me if you have any specific questions. However, depending on when you go, Edmonton is called Festival City, as there are always great festivals - theatre, food, art, music, cultural - throughout the summer. Jasper is about a 4 hour drive from Edmonton.

RE: Honeymooning in Alberta....Any ideas?
luckylamb (4/24/2006)
Hey JennAnn,
I'm from alberta & for a honeymoon my top reccomendations would be Jasper, Lake Louise, Banff and Kananaskis. It's beautiful.

Banff is a really nice place to go to. You should check out staying at Lake Louise. There's a hotel there, i think it's Fairmont Lake Louise....i'm sure you'll find it if you do a search.

Honeymooning in Alberta....Any ideas?

I was asked by FH if we could honeymoon in Alberta as he has always dreamed of going there and I figured sure since it doesn't matter where we are as long as we are together right? But now I have no idea as to where to stay or what to do when we are there. Any hints would be appreciated.
