You just need a driver's licence and your birth certificate. I've been to the DR twice without my passport and Mexico once. It's not an issue at all. For Cuba, you need a passport. You go on the government website and if you meet the criteria..which is like..over 16..canadian citizen...you just have to fill out a section of it online and submit it....then you go in in person to drop off your pick and submit the rest and you zoom to the front of the line!!!! i got there and the wait was like 3 hours....i got in...waited 20 minutes and my name was called....Awesome!!even the lady i was talking to was like..i dont know why more people dont do this...there are step by step instructions on the government website.....and...once you go in and submit it....without expressing it..you get it in like 10 days????? and i had mine mailed too..soo...with the mailing it still only took 10 days!Thu, 17 Jul 2008 14:16:49 GMTchuliehttp://forums.canadianbride.com/Topic436311-10-1.aspxIf you go in person, you'll be able to pick it up in 10 days.
