lmao, good idea, but see, motivation wasn't the issue! I think it was a sensitivity thing...(big tmi alert)...I don't know if you sometimes ever feel, like, oversensitive and almost painful if you've had really good multiple o's or anything, but sometimes I do...so I'm thinking it was more along those lines for him. I don't think we have a problem with frequency anyway, lol ;) And weirdly, the last time we conceived, it was basically a shot in the dark (LMAO) because we were having the craziest, worst week ever and only had sex the one time and that just happened to do it!

You know the stats about how you're only 20-25% likely to conceive on any given cycle? Is that if you KNOW you're bd-ing at the right time, or if you DON'T chart/use opks/know for sure when you're ov-ing?[/quote]

I was supposed to be off work this week, but I'm not. So I've been trying to come in late. Just got a chance to finish my 1 & only cup of coffee for today and read through. Lots of news. Holy Crap.

MrsM - ugh another migrane. that's aweful. hopefully it doesn't interfere with your weekend plans.

Kruk - As I said in your other topic. Congrats. Thanks for the advice on making it happen. We haven't used preseed yet, but it may be time to go buy some.

Today is CD11. Last month I ov'd at CD13, so we were busy last night & given Kruk's advice, we'll have to do that again tonight too.

well...:D...I was on this new kick of bd'ing from cd9 or 10 to cd20. I was assuming that my DHs spermies were quite virile and could withstand the frequency. I used an OPK...which actually more than anything kind of confused me as I didn't have an entirely obvious thermal shift to support the OPK results, but I am glad I used it as it did indicate an ebb and flow of LH, leading me to believe that I had in fact o'd. We increased our frequency of bd'ing around the time of the + opk result and my wet/eggwhite days. Like 3 times in 30 hours. He works shift work so we needed to take advantage of the time when he was around. We used preseed...not sure if it helps or not, but I've never had a huge amount of ewcm and quite frankly it really is the best lube we have ever used, so we like using it.

So really the only thing that was somewhat different was the frequency, I guess. My god my husband is a CHAMP! I had been reading a little about intercourse frequency during the fertile period and I'd read some theories that as long as sperm count is normal...more is better. Each time you do it it only increases your odds. So thats my new theory. :D

morning ladies!!

Kiwi, I usually take my opk after taking DH to work - so between 3-4pm and sometimes later.

It's 1 of 2 things:

1. they are cheap opk kits and don't work as well as the expensive ones LOL

or 2. it's just been too early to test and my doc was right that I should ovulate between friday and sunday!

I'll continue to test and see when and if I get those 2 lines. But we are covering all our bases and having sex today, tomorrow, saturday, sunday and monday.

My migraine is back - ughhhhhhh I hope it goes away soon. I guess I finally got hit with a side effect from my fertility drug. While it's better than the swelling/bloating I used to get, my head hurts and I've got so much to do today. I have a board of directors meeting tonight - that's going to be long and so unfriendly- ughhhh I hate being president some days! And I have relatives coming to town today for the weekend - smack in the middle of my fertile days! LOL - I've already told them that sex comes before seeing them, so if we are to meet up and I'm late, just sit tight, we'll be there! hahaha

Anyway, mini rant over.

Montana, sorry to hear AF found you. Baby dust to you for next cycle.
