That's amazing she could whoooop my little guy! He's 6 months and he's barely rolling (he can but it still shocks him)! I think he's going to be an observer :)

Get babyproofing! Isn't it amazing how fast they change! Go Kate! I'm sure its a little hard to realize she is growing up so fast, but still, you must be so proud :)

She is such a cutie - thanks for sharing pics :)

RE: Not quite 6mos and a "minute" away from crawling...Yikes!!

wow!! Impressive for such an early age. Congrats to her on her accomplishments and hugs to you for the new worries that come with her new mobility. Even though it's natural for her to become mobile, it's still scary for parents because I think it's the first milestone to them "growing up". They go from being this dependent little baby to an independent (or so they think lol) mobile explorer.

Thanks for sharing the pictures, she's adorable. And do keep the pictures come - we all love pictures!!

RE: Not quite 6mos and a "minute" away from crawling...Yikes!!

Yoga at an early age! I love the downward facing dog lol! That's quite an accomplishment for such a little baby, I have a feeling she'll be an early walker too. You must be one proud momma! I can see it being hard too, watching your little one growing up so fast and becoming more and more independant. Enjoy all these 'baby steps':D

Not quite 6mos and a "minute" away from crawling...Yikes!!

I wasnt quite prepared for Kate to become mobile so quickly. Here i was hoping she would be like her daddy and never crawl (although he was walking by 91/2 mos). Kate has been creeping for about 3 weeks now (kinda dragging herself around on her belly or going backwards or sometimes just log rolling til she gets where she wants to be) but just this past week she has started to clumsily crawl:crazy:

She hasnt perfected it yet and still falls flat on her face when she forgets that her hands have to move forward when her knees do, but she is getting around much faster then I am comfortable with (thank god we live in a condo!!).

She even pulls herself up from sitting if I hold out my hands (I dont pull up - she does all the work).

I am a proud mom, but miss being able to flop her down to do things and know that she is still going to be there when I check. Just typing this post I have had to get up and put her back in the middle of the rug about a dozen times:hehe:

Here are some pics of her exploits!!

and here she is practicing 'downward facing dog'
