We found out we're expecting Nov. 6, our wedding is Aug. 5. I was on BC pills as well. I hate to admit it, but my biggest worry was fitting into my dress. You spend so much time looking and then you spend a ridiculous amount of money and you might not even be able to wear it. I'm taking mine to a seamstress and if it has a lace up back put in and a satin border at the top (it's strapless) that should give me room and a little extra length if it is pulling up short over my tummy. It should be possible to still wear it. Your FH sounds like me at first, I wasn't too impressed at first but I am excited now. You just can't miss the obvious: If you get pregnant on the pill, you are with the man you love, someone is telling you that this is the right time whether you know it or not at the time. Trust me, I can't miss it. I just graduated nursing in Feb., started my career, we're getting married in August, having a baby in November. The three major events in life are happening this year. Someone's telling me 2006 is MY year, know what I mean?<br>And all the shock and how huge having a baby is makes wedding planning so much easier!!!! I'm just not sweating the small nitpicky stuff anymore. It's great. And everyone will be so excited!!!! It's already a big day for you, but when all your loved ones are there to share in your wedding day and your expecting, I think they will be that much more excited!!! As for the wedding... you can still likely wear your dress but you'll definitely be needing a bigger size. You could possibly move the wedding up or leave it in September. Either way would be lovely and appropriate.</P><P>Likely your FH is simply in shock and it will take him a little bit to get his head wrapped around becoming a husband and a father within a couple months of each other.</P><P>Take a deep breathe, relax and keep planning for everything.
