That may work, Joan, depending on when he was fed last in relation to when I'd have to leave. He's not on a feeding schedule, just on demand, so if he just ate an hour or so before I have to leave, he won't want to eat again, and will want to eat while I'm gone (I'm sure even if I just joined you for an hour, I'd still be gone at least two. And is if I'd be able to stay an hour! Need I remind you of Eggspectations? How long were we there for before we realized the time? :P)

I'm SO tired. So so tired. But she's so so worth it! I'm sleeping without my ear plugs for the first time in years! It's very hard to adjust but I want to hear her at 2am when she needs to go pee. That routine sounds eerily familiar.... :D It's tough getting used to no ear plugs, eh? You do get used to it, though. Sometimes I stick one in (to lessen Chris' snoring), but usually, I don't have any anymore.

Ha ha, Joan! Too funny! I am hoping, hoping, hoping I can make it. We are working on the bottle thing and I read that at his age, some babies can drink from sippy cups. I have noticed him very interested in my cups and have offerred him a sip of water from my glass, so maybe he'd just prefer that. So... we're going to try it tonight. Fingers crossed! I wanna see you guys! And I wanna get out of the house for more than groceries or diapers!

We could just do the pub thing. Like the Irish Embassy or something like that. I believe that's close to Fishy's hotel. I haven't dined around lower Yonge St. in a long time so I don't know what's good around there.

There's Baton Rouge at the Eaton Centre, I think that's still there. There's the Hard Rock but they're too expensive for what you get and too frigging loud.

Hmmm.... I'll check out toronto.com and see what I can find.

All they really are doing is heating you food up in a skillet and putting on some garnish. Sad really.

funny that you mention the tight black clothing in earls Stacey...it's the same if not worse attitude at Cactus Club.

I wonder if it's discrimination if an unattractive person applied to work at either place and was turned down?

They really do seem to hire based on look and not grey matter (hence the menu mix ups almost every time!!)
