Hi Adri!

I'd really like to do my invites myself and I have some great sources for materials...and lots of help from BMs and my fam, but I'm unsure of how to get the designs I want.

I really like this invite...the envelope especially (this design, a type of damask, is my absolute FAVE!)

I'd likely also like to match the invite to the envelope (or vice versa if not possible to make my own lined envelopes). I like these very much, but not aged and with a thinner red ribbon:

I really want to do my own b/c I also want to match the programs, thank you cards, menu cards etc...it's just much too pricey to have all this done by someone else. These designs are from Etsy, and I love this site so much, but I don't think I could afford it all the way I want.

That was a great tutorial. The ones that I have seen have been for microsoft word and they don't look as nice. Thanks for posting the link!

Wow, thanks for offering help. I don't know anything about monograms. Can you give me some info...like can I get a template and make it myself or how does one make one?

After someone has made one, do you just paste the jpg file onto whatever document you want the monogram in?

Just wanted to let you ladies know that if anyone needs anything designed i'm more than willing to help. I studied photography & design for 5 years, i worked as a designer for 3 years now I do it part time on the side. I can do pretty much anything design wise, i did everything myself for my own wedding, i can do monograms, maps etc. I would also do the entire invite i would however charge for this along with money boxes. If anyone is interested pm me and I can send pics of what I did for my own wedding.
