I also like to run it along the tops of base boards to get dust and such and it wrecked my paint job boounrs. Also I have heard that the wet jet shouldn't be used in homes where there are children, dogs and if you walk around in your bare feet as PP have said. I use a microfibre mop. No chemicals, just water and it works really good. I suggest Norwex. After it was washed and when it dried, you could see all the paw prints from my 2 cats and dog when they walked on it. Over time it can also strip the wood. The only thing they suggest for hardwood floors is warm water or murphy's oil. When my daughter started crawling I was using it, then I always found her (this is weird I know) laying on the floor licking it after I had used it. When she went in for one of her check ups I asked our family doctor if it could be harmfull and he said that there is some sort of cancer causing agent in it, and something else but that was a long time ago and I can't remember.
