When i ordered it they had just started allowing phone orders and accidently sent me the ivory but where quick to fix their mistake.

Here is my dress on the model. I hated the pick up style dresses, but i fell in love with this. It's a parachute pick up so it flows beautifully. I want a poufier skirt then what the model has.

I am new to this and I just ordered my dress 2 weeks ago. I can't wait to wear it again!

I don't have a pic of the back, but it is corset style lace up and has beading from the tailbone all the way into the train.

I can finally post here - I avoided shopping like the plague since i am a big girl and i totally thought I would have a hard time, went to one store, the Proper Topper in Caledonia, they were amazing and I found her.

This is here on the hanger will have pics of me in it in the spring when she comes in.

bradslove - Thanks so much! You are far too kind, but I'm glad that people are as excited about this dress as I am. Maybe I really will knock my FI's socks off on the wedding day. I want his jaw to hit the floor! :D I love the ruching and the fit of the whole thing (minus the top). I think once it's properly fitted it's going to be amazing. It does have a bit of a train, so I need a bustle made as well. I love the color against my skin tone.

Wow!!!! Even though the dress doesn't fit you perfectly yet, you look INCREDIBLE!!!! I love the ruching, and the material looks so pretty! Seriously great choice! Worth the 2-hour wait if you ask me.

Thanks! I love it too! :) It's Carla by Maggie Sottero, the colour is pearl with ivory accents, the crappy lighting in the store makes it look more pink than it actually is. I had to buy off the rack so that's the sample dress I bought, it really badly needs to be altered in the boobs lol.

Okay my turn!! (finally)

Mine is a Watters dress with trumpet skirt, style 8051B. It's strapless silk shantung (whatever that is) with buttons all down the back. It's simple and elegant which is just what i wanted. I bought the sample so i have it already and there a just a few alterations that need to be done.

And I've said it before, I know that I cut my own head off in the pics, but its hard trying to take them myself.:D

It was delivered over a week ago but I am too scared to go try it on. I am SO worried that it wont look good because the wedding is December 6th and there isn't time to get a new one ordered (plus everything that could go wrong has gone wrong when it comes to the wedding)
