Thanks for the replies, ladies. I am going to go with the brown shoes, I'll post pics when I figure out where my camera is :ermm:

I just figured out what I am doing with my hair, as well...if anyone has seen 27 Dresses, it's going to be like Tess' at her engagement party maybe with flowers like Katherine Heigel's on her wedding day. I ordered my bouquet today too...so excited things are finally coming together!

I say go for it. I would love to wear red shoes. just cause i can and they would be hidden though chances are ill wear flats or even sneakers.

I have my heels for the ceremony and pictures and if my feet get sore then I bought white crocs that have rhinestones all over them . They are cute so I am going to wear those at the reception should I need to.

If you do end up wanting to get white shoes, there are some very comfy pumps for sale at Zellers which are only about $30...

Your brown leather shoes might be a much nicer idea, though!

I'm wearing black shoes, so go for it! I would maybe just make sure they don't clash with your other colours, but go for what you love!

I'm wearing low gold strappy sandals that I originally bought on impulse and later realized they would be good for the wedding. I know they're comfortable because I wore them to new year's eve and to work once.

I think that is totally okay! My bridesmaids are wearing brown & pink and I was thinking about wearing pink shoes - still not sure though....I'm in the same situation....I don't have a lot of money to spend and don't want to spend a lot on something I won't wear again and make my feet hurt for days after.

Here's the story...I have a pair of brown leather heels that are gorgeous and so comfy...and I really don't want to wear white ones. Do you ladies think it would be ok to wear them? The wedding is outdoors on a lake and my dress is a destination gown so pretty casual. I also don't have a huge budget so I would have to buy relatively inexpensive shoes (which I don't think I would be able to wear all night, anyway). Thanks!
