We bought my e-ring (custom) there, and both wedding bands. They are located in an office building around Granville and Hastings. Nice stuff and pretty good prices.

RE: jewelers in Vancouver

We had my e-ring and our wedding bands made at a store called Object Design on Granville Island. We had them custom made by their goldsmith who does REALLY beautiful work!

They also have platinum bands that are already made, for reasonable prices.

Crazykewl...if you're looking for something really different, you should check this place out! We were able to help design my e-ring and the guy we worked with doesn't like to make the same ring twice, so it's really individual!!

RE: jewelers in Vancouver

I found a great jeweller in Kerrisdale at a shop called "the perfect gift". They are really nice and do custom pieces at decent prices.

RE: jewelers in Vancouver

Just so you know Platinum does scratch, my engagement ring is platinum and there are scratches all over it, and they don't seem to buff out. I have heard tungston is the way to go as it is guaranteed not to scratch.

RE: jewelers in Vancouver

Thanks gonnaBMRsC. Apparently its one of the strongest substances. I haven't been able to find them in stores, but Ive seen them on eBay for about $300.00 brand new

Im in the vancouver area as well, and have not been able to find anything. I want a loud and funky looking wedding band (suits me :hehe: ) so im looking at ebay for that, brand new though :)

RE: jewelers in Vancouver

We are in the same boat! Our wedding is 44 days away and we still don't have our bands.

We didn't like any of the bands they had at the place we got my e-ring.

I think we're going to either get our bands at Michael Hill or Peoples Jewellers.

I'll keep you posted if we find anything.

RE: jewelers in Vancouver

not sure about vancouver, but you might try www.bidz.com to see what you might like. They have all kinds, even titanium which might be better for him everyday.

jewelers in Vancouver

Hello ladies,
I was wondering if there was anyone who knows of a good place to by men's wedding bands in the greater Vancouver area. FH wants a pretty simple one, in platnium (he works with his hands, so gold will get scratched - or so we are told), but they seem so expensive. I don't know the jewelery stores at all in the city. We bought my e-ring and matching band at spence, but there prices are pretty high. Any one know where is good to look?

Thanks
