Here's my e-ring!! I had a hard time taking a pic of it that did it justice and this is the best I could do.. lol

I hardly wear jewelry, and I never wore rings.. but it sure didn't take long to get used to feeling it on my finger.. now I feel naked if I take it off! (ah, where did it go!?!? lol)

I just got mine (finally!!!!) So i HAD to show it off!

I LOVE that I can garentee there are no others like this on here. Its a 1920's estate ring. Not too bad for a 70 year old ring! and I think if i told people I got it from a Jewelry store no one would think its not!

It is .93cts. The setting makes it look a lot bigger than what it is

Good choice...it's very similar to mine. DH didn't like the square stone either because he said there are more facets in a round diamond which is why it shines and sparkles more then other cuts.

This is my ring!! I have had it for over a year and a half and I love it! Took getting used to because I find it kinda high.

Evan1009 - I'm not sure what others have in the way of a wedding band with a similar e-ring.
I have been looking on-line, and most rings such as mine taper down from the centre to be flush with the band - mine unfortunately doesn't and that is the problem, the bands were made to go around the setting.
I want just a simple thin band with diamonds.
I am debating sending the jeweller a letter to see what kind of a reply I get. They were wonderful with us, and were so proud when they presented the final product, I hate to hurt their feelings. BUT ... my fiance paid for the rings, and I feel badly because it is unlikely I will ever wear the set together. I am just so upset about this I don't know what to do.

oh wow that's a lot going on, sorry but I would have to agree with your family. But I can understand why you went that route, it would be really hard to sit a band against that e ring. Maybe soldering would help, but then if you didn't like it you'd be out of luck for sure.

What do the other people who have that ring or similar do for a wedding band?
