I feel not only fat but low energy and bloated...TMI:(

My short term goal is to loose 15lbs by July 1rst...long term I would like to be at 125lbs perhaps I am dreaming but at 185 I do not exercise and have a completely sedentary lifestyle and eat like 4000cal a day!!!between breastfeeding my 2 month old and tutoring my 6 yr old I am beat....I suppose I am lucky I don't weigh alot more! Thanks for listening to me blah blah will check in later:hehe:

RE: the new and improved WW support group

Good job BabyKat!!!!! <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

As for me, I’m not doing so well – last week I only lost 0.6lbs and the week before 2.4. I’m going in tonight but have a feeling I’ve gained…allow me to explain; with the help of my mother, we figured the reason why I haven’t been losing much weight is due to my sodium intake. I was having soup everyday for lunch and ham at least once per week for dinner. Sodium retains water which equals no weight loss! This week I’ve cut out ALL sodium BUT I had a devastating weekend; family dinner!!! They only served lasagna and bread - two of my many weaknesses. I really did limit myself and didn’t have as much as I normally would, but…I’ll post my results tomorrow.

I told my mom that my mantra/strength for the coming weeks will be my wedding dress! I found THE ONE! YAHOO!!!! I’m going to search through all of my pictures tonight and find the fattest pictures I can of myself and make copies of them. I’m also going to make copies of the stupid skinny gal modeling MY wedding dress. Then I’m going to post the two pictures on the fridge and every single cupboard in my house!! We’ll see how this works…lmao!:P

RE: the new and improved WW support group
AlanaBanana (5/2/2006)
But the good news is that I've officially joined Weight Watchers just yesterday.
AWESOME Alana!!! You can PM me if you wish.....

Thanks a whole bunch.
Ok so some girls are still ALIVE!! LOL!
Ok pricing. I know that meetings cost $15 per week plus I believe a $40-50 startup fee, I am not sure if there is tax on top of that? That is if you just go to any WW. I am currently doing the Dofasco at Work program (my DH works for Dofasco) they offer WW for employees and family. It is all legit it is WW doing it all. So the price is a bit cheaper. They do it in 10week segements. when I joined they were half way through the 10weeks so i paid for 5 weeks and it worked out to $13.50 a week. They bumped the prices up and now it is $14.50. So I paid 145 even for 10weeks. And there was no startup/initiation fee. (not much of a difference now!)
Honestly I LOVE my meeting and my leader and the group I am in. If I can't make my meeting I am still able to go to any WW meeting even though I am at the at work program. However one guy in my group went to another meeting once and he said it was terrible. I guess it really is important to find a good meeting, group and leader. I am wondering if outside people can join my meetings? Not sure? but I think one group of girls did bring a friend of theirs to come and join that doesn't work for dofasco. The people that are actually employees get even more of the price compensated.....so lucky. My meetings are at that Dofasco F.H. Sherman Recreation & Learning Centre on First Road. Not sure if you know where that is. Its off of Mud street.
It is a bit pricey I guess, but I think it is so worth it and I need it. Once you reach your goal though and you maintain your goal weight for 6 weeks I believe you become a lifetime memeber andthen you go for free after that! It is important still to go when you are lifetime.

RE: the new and improved WW support group

I can let you know about pricing. I had my first weigh in on Monday and was down 1.8...I was a little disappointed but I had my first weigh in in the morning and my second one in the evening, and I don't know about you guys but I can fluctuate about 5 pounds during the day, so I'm hoping for better results on Monday!
Congrats on your loss duvaroo.....1.8lbs is great, don't be disappointed. You are right though about the flucitation between day and night. My scale at home is pretty much accurate compared to the WW scale. I weigh in at night with WW. When I weigh in in the moring at home I am about 3lbs lighter. I am sure if you weighed in in the morning you probably would have seen a bigger loss. but a loss is a loss so you are doing great!

RE: the new and improved WW support group

Hello ladies, glad we're all back!
