I would so recommend it, its pricey and hurts like hell but you wont be disappointed. After your 4-6 sessions you just have clean up sessions which for me is ever 9 or so months. It's awesome

:PHave had the ring for 10 months, just starting serious planning now:P

RE: Smooth underarms?

i just had my armpits waxed on saturday and it didn't hurt like i thought it would! it stung for a few seconds, but that's it! totally love it - and it was worth the $16. i would definately go back and have it done again.

RE: Smooth underarms?

Thanks for all the great advice/info. Just a question to those that wax their underarm. What do you do when you have to let the hair grow in between waxing? I tried waxing the first time about a month ago and hair is starting to grow back. Waiting for a week before getting waxing again just seems so long.

RE: Smooth underarms?

get an epilator! Brazilian GO TO THE SALON but I've done bikini at home- painful but do able.

RE: Smooth underarms?

I'd be careful because like you, my underarms are super sensitive...when I waxed I couldn't weat deoderant for 3 days and I didn't find they looked that great since they were red for about a week. I definately wouldn't use any do it yourself stuff - I can't use Nair or Neet anyways, I get hives, but the wax itself was a little better. Go to the salon and do it, I think it would be less irritating...for sure test it out WAY before any major events because it would suck to be itchy, red and smelly (from no deoderant lol) on the big day!

RE: Smooth underarms?

i'm scared of waxing. scared of the pain. so you know what i do instead? a pluck my underarm hairs. what a psycho.

but after a month, the hairs don't grow back for a couple of weeks and they are finer. also, my underarms aren't as dark which is the best part.

RE: Smooth underarms?

I LOVE waxing my underarms! I get irritation and bumps every single time I shave :( I would love to get laser hair removal, for exactly this reason.

Waxing isn't terrible. It's most painful the first time, but it's over quickly. The worst part, IMO, is letting it grow out in between. Just something to consider.

Smooth underarms?

Hi ladies

Anybody have any tips on how to get a close smooth shave on your underarms?

I'm thinking of trying waxing but nervous because i have sensitive skin there...alot of different deodarants will irratate me.
