I had 4 rows in the back and 4 on each side, and it looked amazing! The hair was un-real, just perfect!!! Even when I went to the spa to have my hair done on my wedding day they commented on how unbelievable my extensions were! I have naturally shoulder length hair and with the extensions and the shaping and layering she put into them I was able to have my extension when straight almost to my hips which in turn when it was curled for the wedding it stayed really long! I would definately recomend it to anyone who wants to have long hair!!!

Just out here in the lower mainland we don't have too many options for salon's that offer this, my hair didn't come from out here either, my hairdresser is actually a hair restoration specialist who also does extensions, she orders her hair from Europe, where she originally lived.

RE: Hair extensions

ARE YOU SERIOUS!?!??

Sorry i just got really excited! STOP RIGHT NOW!

Your getting so ripped off! I get extensions quite often. You go to a black hair store. They have tonnes of colours, sythetic and real. (I always get the real hair) It's usually $60-70 for the 18" hair.

Then I go to a black salon, and they do it there, in about 20-30 mins.

The girl that does mine charges me $20 a row to braid them in. 2 rows are generally good enough. ( I have had some girls braid them for $10-15/row)

All said and done, it runs me about $100 TOTAL. The girl that does my hair says the "Salons---usually white ones...." charge SO much more. They rip people off. It's true. My friend got her's done and it was $600. Look into it, seriously.

BTW, wasn't intending to seems rude with the "Black hair store, or white salon....)

Let me know how you make out

RE: Hair extensions

I am getting mine done out here in the lower mainland bc. The cost is $400.00 for the hair, its real not synthetic and is 18-24 inches. To put it in cause I want it weived and not glued in will be almost $300.00. So in total she told me it will be roughly $700.00 to $800.00 depending on how many hours it will take to put it all in.

RE: Hair extensions

Where are you getting yours done??? They are real hair and its weived into little braids in my hair so I can still straighten it or curl it! I am sooooo excited!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait. Right now I have platinum blonde hair just below my shoulders and in two weeks it will almost be down to my waist!!!!!!!! Just in time for the wedding!

Has anyone else had extensions??? Any advice????? Ways to care for it, etc.
