I still get the occasional breakout... but the 20 or 30 or so on my chin and cheeks are GONE!!!!!! DH noticed a difference within a few days of me using it and i didn't tell him about it.

RE: Proactiv

I have been using Proactiv for well over 2 months now and I have to say, I'm pretty let down by it. Maybe I expected too much but after watching all of their ads, I thought it would really work. My skin is a bit clearer but I still am breaking out. Do I continue to use it or move along? And what do I move along to...I don't know what else to try.

RE: Proactiv

I ordered it online - from the Canadian site.

I have mixed feelings about it after using it for 5 weeks. My skin in better than it was but I certainly haven't seen results like they claim in their ads. I will use it for the rest of the summer and then see what I think then.

RE: Proactiv

I was thinking of trying Proactiv to help my skin - it seems to be more problematic than it was as a teenager. I was wondering where you got it? Online, or over the phone I'm guessng. Also, were you charged duty or taxes on the package? I want to order the 30-day trial first, to see how I react to it.

Thanks for the help.

RE: Proactiv

I actually began using it a week and a half ago...I had to stop as my skin was getting so dry and itchy in places that it hadn't before...I was really excited to use the product but have gone back to my other cleaning regime..I am trying to get my skin back to not being scaly but I hope it does soon...I only bought the 1 month supply...so I am glad...I am so sad I can't continue to use it..but honestly I couldn't stand another moment with the drying...it was all over my face and my neck and it was starting to hurt and burn...so although I am bummed I just couldn't handle the drying and flakiness of it...but I am glad to hear it helps so many others....

RE: Proactiv

it took me about 6 weeks i would say before i found a difference and though it got better i did not get great skin. switched products to Neo Strata

RE: Proactiv

It's been a 2 1/2 weeks. I notice a slight change - no new breakouts. But my skin still looks a little ragged. I'm hoping as the weeks go by it will improve.

What I didn't realize is how it would bleach out my towels.

RE: Proactiv

2 months for me

RE: Proactiv

Didn't really work for me...but it does for lots of people. I was warned that twice a day could be too drying!! My skin has been great until the past couple of months and then all of a sudden I have been breaking out - it just rotates from forehead, to chin to jawline. I am really hoping this helps me so its nice to hear the positive feedback!!

RE: Proactiv

I only use it once a day ( at night) and it took me about a month to see results.

RE: Proactiv

I only use everything at night. I never even tried it twice a day, what I saw I was happy with! My skin has never been bad but I was sick of the bumps that I got. I hardly ever get anything anymore, its awesome. I think it took a couple weeks before I saw a difference but it was great!

RE: Proactiv

I have bad rosacea and decided to try Proactiv to help with the bumps I get from it. After a few days I noticed a difference. I don't use the repairing lotion anymore though because it's too drying. And I only use the cleanser about 2 times a week. I do use the glycolic acid toner twice a day and that keeps my face pretty clear and really smooth.

RE: Proactiv

Well you should start to see some changes after a couple weeks. Your skin might become drier though as it is still adjusting. Dont be discouraged. The product really takes a good 4-6 weeks to make significant changes since it takes that long for whatever is already in your pores and skin to come out and skin cells become replaced. It took me about 4 weeks until I noticed much better skin. I didn't have very bad skin to begin with, just the odd pimples here and there, but I couldnt stand them at all. I have been using Proactive for about a 1.5 years and I very rarely get one single pimple, and usually I can get rid of it at very early stages with the products. I guess everyone is different, but it really does work, you just have to give it the chance.

Proactiv

I started using Proactiv earlier this week. I'm just wondering how long it will take before I start to see some results. I know everyone's skin is different but I'm still curious.
