That's something I just don't get, "the wrong crowd". Don't you look at those people and go, wow they have nothing going for them in their lives, personally I like to be around people that strive for goals, but that's just me. Oh well, maybe I'm stuck up and that kept me away from "the wrong crowd" or maybe it's because I'm afraid of smoking and needles (something about smoke going into my lungs freaks me out, although I love campfires). Either way "the wrong crowd" I got into was my friends and I going to a party, and I didn't drink because I like to stay in control.

wow... i'm so totally about to go through the same thing. My FH's BEST MAN's wife is a friend of mine and I just found out that the Best Man has been missing for a week and it's probably on a drug binge cause he's got in with the wrong crowd. I've suggested that my FH get all their friends together, hunt him down, beat him senseless, and put him back on the right track... that's my kind of intervention.

Horrible, Horrible... I feel for ya! There are so many things that us girls worry about going wrong with the wedding that worrying about a coke addicted wedding party, i'm sure, never crossed our minds!

I think you need to see what comes of the intervention and then go from there. Ultimately it is up to your FH who stands up with him.

My father has had a drug problem off and on all his life, so i see both sides.

Ifthe intervention goes well and he is willing to seek treatment let your FH decide.

Just prey the intervention works. But, I understand why u r so worried .... Hope all is well and keep us posted. If all else fails, tell your guy to nix him from the wedding party.

Honestly, wats the worse than can happen if u ask ur guy to take him out of the WP .....

Personally, I think this is your FH's decision. Cross your fingers and hope things go well. Express your concerns to your FH of course. But ultimately I think it's his decision.

I think you need to wait until your FH

reports back on the intervention. If this

guy isn't willing to seek treatment,

then your FH might be more inclined

to go along with your request

Right now, he is busy supporting his friend

and that is an admirable thing for him to

do. Put yourself in his place for a moment.

If you learned that your MOH had a

serious drinking problem, would you be

happy if your FH wanted you to instantly

kick her to the curb?

Let him take his shot at helping this guy

see the light and then deal with the

results. Keep us posted on the updates.

What a nightmare...

Last weekend we went out with FH's friends and found out that one of the Groomsmen is heavily addicted to Coke. FH did not know as they do not hang out very much anymore, but they have been friends since grade school...

Myself and the Groomsman DO NOT get along at all, never have, but I agreed to have him in the wedding because he and Fh go back so long. Now, I'm freaked right out that he will show up high.

Tonight FH and all his friends are doing an Intervention, but I honestly don't think it will work. This guy just refinanced his house for 550,000.00!!, has secret investment properties out of Province to provide income for his drug use, and his wife knows nothing!

I DO NOT want him at my wedding, let alone in the WP! But how do I make FH oust him?
