They are two seperate functions even though they are related to one another and they should be treated as seperate.

RE: Shower thank you cards

I think that the proper ettiquette is to get them out as soon as possible within two weeks of your shower. The wedding thank you cards should be sometime after your honeymoon. I think it's two weeks after your honeymoon. I think that you should write seperate thank you's. If you do a few a day it won't be so bad.

RE: Shower thank you cards

I'm not exactly sure what the "proper" thing to do is - but I don't see why it would be a problem! As long as you are saying thank you why should it matter if it comes in one card or two, right?

Shower thank you cards

My bridal shower was yesterday, which is exactly 2 weeks before my wedding. Do I have to send out seperate thank you cards for my shower gifts, or can I make a special mention in the thank you card I mail for the wedding present. I sorta think that I need to send out two seperate ones, but just doing one and inluding a thanks for both gifts would save me time and money. <P>Any thoughts?
