You know what I would do...I would tell her straight up..."My wedding planning is getting really hectic and I don't think I will be able to give you my 100% as a bridesmaid, I think it would be best if I'm not a BM in your bridal party" and leave it at that...if she wants to drop out of yours...then that's her choice...

Jules-she really isn't worth it. She needs to stop acting like a brat and grow up. She obviously isn't old enough or mature enough to get married especially since she is still acting like she is in Jr. High! I know she's family and all BUT sometimes family act worse than your enemies...trust me I have some friends that I'm closer with than some of my family:cool: It happens to everyone pretty much...

who is in whose wedding party? after reading that someone needs to fire somone or you need to fire yourself if it is you in her party. why would either of you be in each others party. you both seem to hate each other and it seems silly to me to fake otherwise. IMO

EastWest.. here's the latest decision.. I'm hoping she will drop me from her bridal party - i'm not going to drop out on my own (cause too much sh*t), but if she drops me then my family and I aren't going to her wedding and they're not invited to mine.. this option makes me feel like crying because it makes me soo happy.. weird eh?

You know what it's time just to forget about, ignore her and her tantrums...someone in this post said she's obviously jealous and wanted all the attention to be on her and I quite agree! Remember I told you this a while back!! She's afraid of you having a better wedding. Honestly, you and Dan should enjoy planning your wedding and enjoy your day!! Remember you only do this once and don't let her ruin your planning, you are going to want to look back on this one day and laugh because of how childish she's being. Don't play along with her...just let it be trust me...she'll come to her senses!;)

I have read he previous post and now this one and I have to say there seems to be some real jealousy issues here. She doesn't want you to steal "her show" by even being engaged anywhere round the time she's doing all of her wedding planning and getting married. She is one of those people who expects everyone's world to stand still just because she's going to have a wedding. Also the part where she mentioned about how you didn't call her mom when you were supposedly so close to her, that also sounds like she's jealous of the past relationship and closeness you've had with her mom. If there have been any strains in their relationship (as there are in any mother daughter relationship) she has probably been bitter about feeling like her mom has never had those strains with you and had a close relationship with you. The whole thing just reeks of jealousy in my opinion and there's no way to fix it until she grows up and realizes you're not competition. I suggest you just leave her be, as hard as it may be, try to be as gracious as possible with her. If it gives you any satisfaction, you can just kill her with kindness, accept her apology and be there for anything she needs that is within reason. Then if she starts up with anything in relation to your wedding or gets pissed off about anything, just be the bigger person...might help to point out what a child she's being. Even if it doesn't, it'll piss her off and it'll make you happier than constantly being pissed at her. Good luck with everything... keep us updated!

recap.. she's getting married two months before me.. I'm the one in the wrong. f*cking ridiculous
