I ddint know when mine was, and I wasn't impressed. First we went to a restaurant (Crabby Joe's) where they gave me all these sex toys and things (We had a family next to us, I wasn't happy)

Then at the bar, they brought out the 'goodies'-pen1s cups, shirts to sign, etc. I was embarassed, but i know my 2 bridesmaids (single and barely 20) has worked hard to plan the night.

I told them what I wanted (nice dinner, could go to a bar, but nothing to this extent)...and was disapointed it wasn't what i wanted.

We did some dares for my friend for her bachelorette ... but they were silly ... like going into a busy Wendy's and recreating the Meg Ryan scene (a-la-fake-orgasm) granted there were no children present and going into a grocery store and creating a p3n!s out of veggies ... just silly stuff like that ... but we didn't have her getting boxers ....

We did it for fun .... :)

i agree. i think i'm a good sport, but don't want to put the ASS in class at my staggette! one of my bm insists that i have to wear a dumb playboy bunny costume with the facking ears and have a *** cake.

thank god my MOH knows better and is going to put the kibosh on it. she wants me to look sophisticated and still have a good time... i don't get it. it's not like i'm making my bm look like an ass for our wedding by making her wear a hideous puffy sleeved, lacey bridesmaid dress!!! :crazy:

I still like the clubbing scene but I agree that those parties are super tacky. I hate it when I'm out and there's a pack (love that expression fascha) of them doing weird things and dressed up in weird outfits. So tacky and so annoying. Definitely not my thing.

I totally agree, i am not wearing any c0ck necklaces, cups, or any other genital paraphenalia...I think it's gross. Yes, I want to have a drunken night, but I just want to enjoy all my girlies. Licking some bald guys head:blink:

Ya I agree, some of those things are really bad. Me and FH were walking around the mall one day and there were some "bachelorette games" in the store and we were just looking at them for fun, and some of them had the bride like kissing other men and stuff!! FH said "uh, if you have to kiss another guy, just don't like make out with him or anything". lol, i was like, "I definately would NOT kiss any other man!! Pretty bad lol. Some things are fun, but there is a line.

I am glad I am not the only one who hates those types of stagettes.
I keep telling my MOH that I am NOT doing anything like asking a guy for his number or a condom etc.

A good stagette for me would be a wine tour. I went to one a few years ago were they rented a limo, we had a few drinks in there, went to some winerys and then back to Burlington for dinner. It was alot of fun.

That kind of party doesn't interest me personally but to each their own.

I think I'm going to go to Vegas with my girls. If I was staying in town I'd probably just want a fun night out--nothing raunchy.

I agree...tacky! At mine, the wildest thing I will probably have to do is get someone to buy me a drink...lol. My shirt will say "I'm Tying The Knot, Buy Me A Shot"...so it sould not be too hard...lol!:D

I could deal with a nice lounge or even an upscale club (ie. one that everyone isn't on ecstacy! lol) The only thing I find tacky is when these packs (and I mean packs...as in wolves!) scotch tape lolipops to their ass and gay signs all over their backs and slut-it-up at the nearest place open for business and selling booze! It's completely ridiculous... I don't know how many times I've seen pictures of someone straddling a loser that they don't know with a c0ck lolipop in their mouth and a bottle of beer in the other... I feel dirty for them! lol

what i do not get is the "single" talk... ya i understand that you have never been married or something but you still are not single... you have a bf/gf still.

I'm glad I'm not the only one!!! My MOH is having her bachelorette and what I was thinking was getting a little *tipsy* and having out own cooking lessons and chick flicks, or something along those lines... we have totally exhausted the clubbing thing in our early twenties!

i really like the spa party idea, much nicer than clubbing...i have a feeling that my friends will try to go the tacky way but I am refusing to do the nasty stuff, i am sorry but that is crazy!! maybe if you are 20(sorry to all the 20 year olds) but not a mature person,i don't even want to go near a strip club or spend the night drinking!!!!!! I wonder if I can bribe my MOH into a spa party??? lol

You know...the more I hear about those spa parties, the more i likem! Me and my girls will probably end up doing one of those. I still want to have a fun night on the town though...martini bar maybe? Not really into the clubbing scene anymore.

Yes, I never understood why is that girls tend to go crazy at their bachelorette party! Sometimes it's like a bunch of animals coming out of their cage for a day knowing their going to go back in. Why is it for one night it's acceptable to do outrageous things because it's the last time your "allowed" too....it's completely tacky.

EEeeewwwww...that's gross! I wouldn't even call that a Bachelorette. But I guess what ever floats the bride's boat (or the ones planning it!) I am planning CrysandJim's (just Crystal actually lol) Bachelorette, it's what she wants...but nothing like that, just good, clean fun!

i agree as well! i made my bm's promise not to make me do that. it's not me at all! we're going to go out for dinner then go to one bm's house to have dessert (making sundaes is part of it) and play some games.

We are doing scavanger hunt and I have already preaproved the list of things to hunt for..it was actally bought at a party store and it is quite decent..I am just not sure about # 10 for 100 points "ask a guy to Marry you" but I guess I can make it look like a joke and still get the points:D

I am not trying to make anyone feel bad if they had this kind of bachelorette, but I was just on FB reading about someones bachelorette party and the "dares" that she had to do, and I'm sorry... but licking a bald mans head, getting boxers from some random guy? Sounds more like a trailer park party to me. I'm just not sure why people think that a bachelorette party has to be a raunchy display of your still-single status. It's just not for me I guess!
