My Godmother (who's my aunt on my dad's side and my parents are divorced) approached me one day and said she'd throw a shower to appease all the little old Polish biddies who'll want to oooh and aaah over the first grandchild of the family gettin' hitched. My MOH wanted to throw one as well but I'd feel silly having two showers. Feels sort of ... I don't know ... selfish? We'll see what happens. I know my mom and her friends and family will want to be a part of a shower as well, so maybe my MOH can host that one. I dunno... I'm not gonna say nothin'. ;)</P><P>I am, however, looking forward to the bachelorette party. We're throwing a Passion Party at a pub my mom works at (side job) and we'll have tons o' fun! We're going to have it on my birthday to catch all that stuff in one fair swoop... My MOH had a baby 6 weeks ago so all we talk about is baby which is fine but there is no mention of anything wedding or shower so my mom has taken up the task. Last I heard, this week she emailed both my MOH and FMIL. Looks like they will be looking to have a "friends" and "family" shower as all together would be a little crazy. I am looking forward to whatever they throw my way tee-hee. Kinda in a strange funk when it comes to my MOH as I was not in her wedding but threw her shower as her MOH was preggers and did nothing for her. You would think that she would remember this and at least mention it...oh well...will vent later and keep everyone posted.
