I am not having a bridal shower and we are doing this so we can have fun with our friends together. 1) I have 5 friends all getting married this summer and every single one of them is having a sit down lunch at a restaurant. I want to be different. 2) I really wanted to have all our friends included and not feel like they had to give us something. this way they fork out a bit to come and they can use their money as they please. A few reasons: most of my Fh's friends live in B.C. and therefore wouldn't be able to come....hehe... so the party wouldn't be to big. Also, many women in my family say they are/or seem like a money grab... and considering the formality of our wedding and the events leading up to it.... we arn't having one.
