For our slideshow we are using "We're Going to be Friends" by the White Stripes. It's a really sweet song that is suitable for growing up pictures and the two of us together. Good luck picking out a song^^

We used "One Day Closer to You" by Carolyn Dawn Johnson for me, "Guys Like Me" by Eric Church for him, and "Bring it on Home" by Little Big Town for both of us. (I had to pull up our slideshow to remember all the titles, and I'm still struck with how prefect those songs are for us.)

Our slideshow was 6 minutes or so long. We had a song from New Zealand by Goldenhorse first, and a song from Canada by Feist second. Our photos were semi-chronological, but mixed.

I've also heard rumors that there are some of my high school cheerleading pictures on this slide show, and they are using the "hey mickey" song

I don't think they necessarily have to be love songs (although they could be). Maybe the growing up ones have a song you liked as a kid. And music you like now. Maybe a love song if you have pics of the two of you together.

Probably it depends on your taste of music really... and what kind of songs you like. You could go for super cheezy/sappy, or for humourous music. It depends on the mood you're setting.
