I am having a hard time too!! I don't want it to be the same old wedding entrance song that everyone hears, I want it to be upbeat and get the crowd going.

Maybe I will use something from 2008!! LOL and for my parents do ACDC or something that was there era.

Wow, Dress twins and entrance song twins!

We did the same thing! DH is a huge KISS fan and we were at DJ Emporium and he says "I did a mix for another couple, I think you might like it" whoa...

"we" are huge Bon Jovi songs and since we had our first and last songs as Bon Jovi, when the DJ said KISS I knew I wouldn't have a choice with DH. anyway, we totally loved it.

Can I ask a question??? Why are some of you having 2 or even 3 songs?? Isn't the entrance just that? An entrance? I mean...one song should suffice, no?? I am just not really that 'hip to the jive' on this topic apparently...

I don't mean it to be rude...I am actually curious...what do you plan on doing when you enter that would take a while...or are you just using the first little snippits of the songs?? I'm a wedding moron apparently.

The wedding party is walking in with the song "Labels or Love" by Fergie (I'm a huge SATC Fan!) and my FH and I are walking in with the song "4 Minutes" by Madonna feat. Justin Timberlake....

Well our entrance is going to be a bit crazy and very involved procedure. FH and groomsman are radio DJ's so we are mastering an entrance. Each person in the party will have their own song and intro. The intro is being produced, copy is being written by me, because I am a professional writer.

The nitty gritty of it all, DJ will gather crowds attention. And then their will be the Hockey Night In Canada Theme - hehe we are so Canadian.

Then the mastered copy with be played and say, introducing your bridal party, the starting line-up Your Local Celebrity and Defencemen, Mr. Groomsmen - GM and G lived together while they both worked in Radio, you may now know Country Chris from Joe FM in Edmonton.
Starting as your better looking defence women, the independent women herself Ms. Bridesmaid, BM and B lived together and have endured many adventures, including crashing a car into a Fire Truck.
Your Right Wing and Best Man of the evening Mr. Best Man, brother of the groom.
For your Left Wing and Maid of Honour the always glamorous Mrs. MOH, best friend for over 10 years
<[b]Sound Hockey Goal Horn with 2 sec. fade to U2's Where the streets have no name[/b] - Vancouver Canucks opening song> and now to introduce your forwards and captains of the teams - MR Groom and Mrs. Bride. We will be wearing Van(FH) and Oilers (Me) Jersey's.

I love the idea of Munamumah (or however it's spelt)!

We're doing U2's "Where the streets have no name" because FH and the groomsmen are huge fans of the Vancouver Canucks and that's the song they enter the rink to.

HA! I love it! I would totally go for it!

I haven't really picked anything yet, haven't gotten down to that nitty gritty, but I was thinking something along the lines of Journey's Open arms, or something like that. Although something more up-beat would be totally cool too, and appropiate considering the ppl who will be there, my whole family of future in-laws is nuts- and a lot of fun :)

"Pour Some Sugar on Me" is awesome! I have almost got my FH convinced that it would be perfect. He doesn't seem to share my love of Def Leppard but he's coming around......

Not sure what "tone" that would set for the wedding mind you....lol

Our parents and siblings are walking in to WE are family-Sister sledge

My ladies are walking in to Hot Child in the City- Pat Benetar (Also my fave Sex in the City episode and a fave of all my girls)

GM's are walking in to Back in Black - AC DC (because they are all dressed in black)

And FH and I are walking in to Money City Maniacs by Sloan - FH picked it...mostly for the first 45 seconds...and I have to admit I love it!!!!!
