I'll tell hubby that making an "entrance" would be more pretentious than just having the darn thing on from the get go. I tried to reason with him, but maybe if it's coming from more than just me, he'll agree.
Thanks again.... and thank god I still fit into it... and at least have the option of wearing it :)

RE: For those having an AHR....

I totally wore my dress all night! :) I think it seems more of a pain in the arse to change at some point! Just wear your dress and have fun! All my guests were very happy they got to see me in my dress! :)

RE: For those having an AHR....

I am wearing my dress again! I did consider the idea that I could seem pretentious, but then everyone coming has told me "I have to wear it again", so I can just use the excuse that it was due to popular demand :)

RE: For those having an AHR....

I would wear it!! hell, i wouldn't have taken it off except it was awkward to sit in on the plane...lol.

I am very simple and easy kind of girl. I would wear it till i was too hot or uncomfortable to keep it on and then change into something else. I am going to BrandyMB's AHR tomorrow and totally expect her to be in her wedding dress when i get there.... for me... changing and then making a second extrance is the more "fussy" choice!!

RE: For those having an AHR....

Definitely wearing my dress again. That's the one perk of having a DW!

RE: For those having an AHR....

Hey u get a 2nd chance to wear it again all night, so do it as you wish, me i'm having like a bbq/cocktail party after and i am wearing my dress all day again!!! we spent quite some money on it so might as well enjoy it to the fullest

do whatever your heart says

For those having an AHR....

DH thinks it's silly to wear my wedding dress all night... he thinks I should wear a regular dress, run upstairs to the hotel room at some point, throw it on and come back down for our vow renewal. He thinks it will be pretentious to greet guest while wearing a wedding dress (we are not being announced, we'll be there first). I just think it will be a pain in the @ss. What do you think? TIA for any opinions :)
